Smirnoff

This project explores a bold, India-first visual language for Smirnoff through the launch of two region-specific flavours—Minty Jamun and Mango Mirchi. I designed the key visual and bottle packaging with inspiration drawn from Indian miniature painting, embracing its dense compositions, layered storytelling, and ornamental detail.

The visual system adopts a maximalist approach, using saturated colour palettes, stylised flora, narrative landscapes, and symbolic elements rooted in Indian art traditions. Rather than minimal restraint, the artwork celebrates abundance—mirroring the intensity of flavour and the richness of Indian visual culture. Every element works together to create a world around the bottle, where the product becomes the central character within a vibrant, illustrated scene.

While deeply cultural, the design remains contemporary—balancing illustration-heavy storytelling with strong hierarchy and clear brand presence. The result is a colourful, immersive key visual and packaging system that feels unapologetically Indian, visually indulgent, and unmistakably Smirnoff.
